K-12 Coding Instructor

Are you a tech-savvy individual with a knack for teaching and a passion for coding? We are currently seeking dynamic and engaging instructors to join our team and inspire the next generation of programmers. This exciting opportunity involves teaching coding skills to middle and high school students through Zoom.

For middle school students, we are looking for instructors proficient in Scratch, MakeCode, and TinkerCAD. You will help provide an engaging introduction to coding concepts and help students create interactive stories, games, and 3D models. If you have experience teaching Python, JavaScript, or Java to high school students, we want to hear from you! Your expertise in these programming languages will equip students with valuable skills for future academic and professional pursuits. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication abilities, patience, and a talent for breaking down complex concepts into easily understandable lessons.

Marketing and Outreach Intern

This (remote) marketing and outreach intern position is an exciting opportunity to learn about the K-12 edtech market and acquire an understanding of the opportunities in this space. Successful candidates will demonstrate intellectual curiosity about the edtech market, initiative and responsibility in developing new ideas, and follow-through skills. The intern will learn about a range of channels, including email marketing, social media marketing, developing campaigns, liaising with private and public schools, and developing initiatives to reach new customer segments. The intern will be assigned a departmental supervisor and will assist in a range of projects over the summer.

The successful candidate will be a quick learner and be highly organized and responsive in online communication. He or she should have a good working knowledge of Office products, including Excel, Powerpoint and have excellent oral and written communication skills. No travel is required. Knowledge of coding platforms and programming languages is recommended but not required. Prior experience with K-12 education is a big plus.
